About the Artwork

I wanted to create a piece (a robot) using recycled items, found objects, and more for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. In this process, I also wanted to challenge myself and take on several more requirements. These additional challenges are:

  1. Use "Bill Making Stuff's Junkbot Generator" to determine traits for the robot. You can find the generator here: https://www.thegutterlands.com/bangarang-in-the-gutterlands. With the generator, I rolled the following for the robot:

    1. Body: Too Many Wires

    2. Head: Cyclopean

    3. Arms: Wired

    4. Hands: Electric

    5. Legs: They Call Me Wheels

    6. Flavor: Ronin

  2. Enter the piece into the CupCup Division in the Original Mecha Contest found here: https://www.originalmechacontest.org/. The requirements for this division are:

    1. Include a cup in the piece.

    2. Include a ping pong ball in the piece.

    3. The entire build must fit in a 6-inch cube.

  3. Tie the character created to my previous artwork, Puzz-L the Capable. You can learn more about Puzz-L here: https://www.jramosworks.com/post/puzz-l-the-capable. Based on Puzz-L's story, the new character must be the following:

    1. Female.

    2. A vocalist.

    3. A musician who can play the lute.

  4. Add themes of Breast Cancer Awareness to the artwork.

The Short Story

Another goal for these art pieces is to create a short story based on anything that I learn, experience, or something that may have happened during the project. The story will continue building the World of Aodhanis (pronounced eh-yawn-is), a sci-fi/fantasy world that acts as a blank canvas for these stories.
