About the Artwork
Creating art is a journey. For Breast Cancer Awareness Month, I wanted to craft a unique piece—a robot made from recycled items and found objects. This project was not just about making art; it was about challenging myself. I set several goals for this creation.
The Robot's Traits
To design the robot, I used "Bill Making Stuff's Junkbot Generator." You can find the generator here. The traits I rolled for my robot are:
Body: Too Many Wires
Head: Cyclopean
Arms: Wired
Hands: Electric
Legs: They Call Me Wheels
Flavor: Ronin
Contest Entry
I also decided to enter this piece into the CupCup Division of the Original Mecha Contest. You can check out the contest here. The requirements for this division are:
Include a cup in the piece.
Include a ping pong ball in the piece.
The entire build must fit in a 6-inch cube.
Character Development
This character ties back to my previous artwork, Puzz-L the Capable. You can learn more about Puzz-L here. For this new character, I decided on the following traits:
Gender: Female
Role: Vocalist
Instrument: Musician who plays the lute
Themes of Awareness
Incorporating themes of Breast Cancer Awareness into this artwork was essential. I aimed to blend creativity with a cause that resonates deeply.

The Short Story
Another goal for these art pieces is to create a short story based on my experiences and learnings throughout the project. This story will help build the World of Aodhanis (pronounced eh-yawn-is), a sci-fi/fantasy universe that serves as a blank canvas for these narratives.

Conclusion
Art is a powerful tool for change. It can inspire, educate, and bring communities together. As I continue my journey, I hope to create more pieces that resonate with others. Let's keep pushing boundaries and supporting causes that matter. Together, we can make a difference!
