Aodhanis (pronounced eh-yawn-is) is a name born from two worlds: the Gaelic Aodhan, meaning “little fire,” and the Greek Adonis, meaning “beautiful.” Together, they spark a place of beauty, creation, and inspiration.

Beginning in January 2025, Tales from Aodhanis is a long-term storytelling project unfolding through a growing collection of short stories that build the lore of a rich sci-fi/fantasy world. Its map is intentionally open—a blank canvas capable of holding countless tales filled with wonder, mystery, and transformation.

Each story is inspired by artwork created from found, recycled, or upcycled materials—objects once discarded and reimagined. The themes, process, and moments that arise during each artwork’s creation directly shape the stories, allowing the world of Aodhanis to grow from both imagination and renewal.
